or 0.8 FTE potential across Joondalup and Tuart Hill clinic**

We are seeking a highly professional and experienced speech pathologist, competent across all main paediatric areas of practice to be remunerated at our highest billing % for 2 days a week, at our Joondalup clinic (Tues & Wed) + 1 locum day avail Thurs, until the end of Term 1, 2019. The position is for ongoing work at Viva speech pathology’s satellite clinic at the Joondalup family centre, 25 Jolstra Crescent (Right next to a child health clinic, Pre-Kindy and primary school!)

Viva speech pathology has operated since 2006 with a strong focus on family centred practice and evidenced based practice. Our approach is thorough, passionate and caring to empower clients and families, be they babies, toddlers, teenagers or adults, towards ‘Confident communication for life’. We have also been working at Carine primary school since 2015 with the Kindergarten and Pre-primary Year levels with new school projects, being planned.

Family friendly school hours available for the right candidate! Admin support is available on a part-time basis.

Flexibility with days in 2019 due to job share

**At least 2 more days are currently available at our Tuart Hill clinic if a therapist is seeking a full time position across our 2 clinics**

We are seeking a dynamic, caring & passionate therapist with a commitment to teamwork, evidenced based practice and continual quality improvement of the practice, alongside our team! Good caseload management & caseload building skills is a must.

Therapist will need SPA membership, an ABN number, a Medicare provider number and professional indemnity insurance.

Desirable criteria incl. experience in any of the following clinical interest areas:

-At least 5 years working as a speech pathologist on a full-time basis

-Less experienced therapists with strong clinical skills will also be considered.

-Experience in private settings & PSPA WA membership

-School contract implementation, execution & evaluation skills

-Mentoring skills of less experienced therapists

-Autism diagnostic skills & WAADF membership or

-Voice therapy skills or

-Stuttering therapy skills with teenagers and adults or

-Paediatric Feeding experience or

-Accent reduction
